By creating an account, accessing, or using ScreenCraft (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

2. Definitions

3. Description of the Service

ScreenCraft is a web-based tool for designing, customizing, and exporting app store screenshot layouts for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). The Service provides:

  • A drag-and-drop canvas editor for building screenshot compositions.
  • A template library with preset and custom template support.
  • Localization support for 40+ locales, including right-to-left (RTL) languages.
  • Multi-screen project management with device frame rendering.
  • Server-side PNG and PDF export with batch processing capability.
  • Cloud storage for projects and uploaded assets (accessible across devices).
  • Free and paid subscription plans with varying feature limits.

We provide the Service “as is” and may update, modify, or discontinue any part of it at any time without prior notice, except as otherwise stated in these Terms.

4. Your Account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are solely responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You may not share your account credentials with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload, store, or process content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, harassing, or otherwise harmful.
  • Attempt to circumvent plan limits, daily export quotas, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service in ways not intended by its design.
  • Generate misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent app store listings that may violate app store guidelines.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service’s infrastructure, servers, or other users’ access.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without written permission.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this policy, including removing content, limiting account features, or terminating accounts.

6. Your Content & Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload or create through the Service, including app screenshots, designs, and project data. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, and render your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., generating previews, processing exports, and serving your projects across devices).

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service. You represent that you have all necessary rights to any content you upload.

7. Licence to Use Exports & Templates

You may use all images and files you export from the Service for any personal or commercial purpose, including submitting them to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The built-in device frames, template designs, and UI assets provided by the Service are licensed for use within exports created by the Service only. You may not extract, redistribute, or resell these assets as standalone design resources.

8. Plans, Payments & Billing

8.1 Free Plan

The Free plan is available at no cost and includes limited features as described on the pricing page. Free-tier exports include a ScreenCraft watermark and are limited to standard resolution.

8.2 Paid Plans

Paid plans (Pro and Unlimited) are billed through Xendit, our payment processor. Prices are displayed in USD on the pricing page. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge the applicable fee to your selected payment method.

8.3 Billing Cycles

Paid plans are available on monthly or yearly billing cycles. Yearly plans are billed upfront. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

8.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your paid plan at any time. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period. After cancellation, your account will revert to the Free plan and its associated limits.

8.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change plan pricing with at least 14 days’ notice to active subscribers. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

8.6 Refunds

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us within 7 days of the charge. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods or unused exports.

8.7 Downgrades

Downgrading to a lower plan tier is not supported mid-cycle. You may cancel your current plan and re-subscribe to a lower tier at the start of your next billing period. Projects and data exceeding the lower plan’s limits may become read-only until brought within those limits.

9. Usage Limits & Fair Use

Each plan tier imposes limits on the number of projects, screens per project, daily exports, template access, and export resolution as described on the pricing page. These limits are enforced server-side and are not negotiable on an individual basis.

  • Projects: Free plans are limited to 3 projects. Paid plans offer higher or unlimited project counts.
  • Screens: Each project is limited to a maximum number of screens per plan tier.
  • Exports: Daily export quotas are enforced per user. Free plans allow 3 exports per day. Paid plans offer higher or unlimited daily exports.
  • Watermark: Free-tier exports include a ScreenCraft watermark. Paid plans remove the watermark.
  • Resolution: Free plans export at standard resolution. HD export is available on paid plans only.

We reserve the right to adjust plan limits with reasonable notice. Abuse of the Service to circumvent limits (e.g., creating multiple accounts) may result in account termination.

10. Data Storage & Retention

Your projects, uploaded assets, and export history are stored on our secure servers and are accessible only through your authenticated account. We use Supabase for database, authentication, and file storage with Row-Level Security policies ensuring your data is never accessible to other users.

  • Free-plan storage is subject to fair-use limits. Excessive storage usage may be flagged for review.
  • Uploaded assets are served through time-limited signed URLs for security.
  • Export files (PNG, PDF, ZIP) are temporary and may be cleaned up after 7 days.
  • Export metadata (timestamps, plan tier, quota usage) is retained for abuse detection and analytics.

If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may experience downtime due to scheduled maintenance, server migrations, or unexpected outages. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance.

We are not liable for any loss of data, missed deadlines, or business interruptions resulting from Service downtime.

12. Intellectual Property

The ScreenCraft name, logo, interface design, source code, and all underlying technology are owned by us and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the Service’s source code, design, or branding.
  • Use the ScreenCraft name, logo, or trademarks without written permission.
  • Extract or redistribute built-in device frames, templates, or UI assets as standalone resources.
  • Create derivative works based on the Service’s proprietary components.

13. User Feedback

If you provide suggestions, feedback, or ideas for improving the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use and incorporate your feedback without attribution or compensation.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.
  • Content you upload or create that infringes on the rights of any third party.
  • Your violation of applicable laws or regulations.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements, that exports will be error-free, or that the Service will be free of bugs, viruses, or other harmful components.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you in any month shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in that month. For Free-plan users, our total liability is limited to USD $1.00.

17. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for violations of these Terms or for conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service or other users.
  • Upon termination, the licences granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
  • Sections 6 (Content Ownership), 7 (Licence to Use Exports & Templates), 12 (Intellectual Property), 15 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 16 (Limitation of Liability), 17 (Indemnification), and 18 (Governing Law) of these Terms shall survive termination.

18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Indonesia.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the Service, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
